We’re switching things up. Introducing our new name, Yuze.

2023 has been our biggest year yet. We’ve moved our HQ to the Innovation Central in Darlington, acquired several new partners and have been looking to make bigger changes. Over the last few months, we have been working on our most significant update yet and a brand new name: Yuze.

To broaden our horizons outside the United Kingdom, changing our name was imperative. We want restaurant and takeaways across the globe to benefit from the power of Yuze.

In the age of effortless connectivity everything lies just a tap away. We question why the world of hospitality remains tethered to archaic, cumbersome point-of-sale systems. It is in this realisation that Yuze emerges, a mobile companion designed to fit in the palm of your hand. Here’s some Yuze’s new features which makes the platform even stronger…

Freshening it up

The app has a fresh look with a more consistent feel when navigating around the app. We’ve changed a few things to ensure the experience feels the same whether you’re using a Yuze P2 Reader or Yuze T2s Till.

Responding to valuable feedback from our partners, we have meticulously redesigned the Pay and Table screens, ensuring optimal efficiency and ease. The Pay Screen has undergone a complete redesign, eliminating staff errors, streamlining the payment process and expediting order settlements. Meanwhile, the Tables Screen now boasts a convenient table actions tab, enabling swift modifications without disrupting the order flow.

Tap to Pay on Android

The excitement doesn't end there! We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Tap to Pay on Android. This groundbreaking technology empowers merchants to accept contactless card payments on any Android-compatible device, all without the need for additional hardware or excessive costs.

This remarkable update extends to our card readers as well, revolutionising the way orders are taken and paid for, effortlessly simplifying the entire experience. Furthermore, we have optimised the performance of card readers within cloud mode, slashing processing times by a staggering 20 seconds, accessible with a simple tap.

Manager Mode

Understanding the unique needs of every establishment, we introduce Manager Mode, an ingenious feature that provides granular control over access privileges. This empowers managers to tailor the app experience to suit their specific requirements, restricting access to certain functions such as voiding orders, viewing reports, creating discounts, and performing refund transactions. Seamlessly balancing security and convenience, Manager Mode unlocks a realm of possibilities.

Payment Links

Wait, there's more! Introducing Payment Links – an addition we simply couldn't overlook We’re bringing payment links to Yuze. With payment links, you can now provide your customers with a secure and convenient way to make payments from anywhere, anytime. Whether your customers are placing orders remotely, making reservations, or simply settling bills, our integrated payment links make the process effortless and efficient.

What’s next?

As we gaze into the future, our sights set on Q3, we are elated to share our plans for Online Ordering. Our goal is to empower our online ordering platform, making it so robust that reliance on food delivery platforms becomes obsolete. Our vision is to make ordering even easier for your customers to pay with e-wallets, reordering, cross-selling, better discount options and more. In addition, we are migrating our payment services away from Stripe, unlocking the potential for next-day payouts.

Let us know what you think about our new name and the new update and we can’t wait to show you the updates in Q3. For now…

Peace✌️
